Our elected bargaining committee did a fantastic job bringing the members needs to the forefront.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Matt Barnable, GLR.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights of the new agreement include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>language that provides for union orientation with all new members up to 2 hours with no loss of pay to educate our members on their rights and on the IAM<\/li>\n<li>enhanced job posting language and job posting grievance language<\/li>\n<li>increased premiums and meal allowance<\/li>\n<li>improved electric vehicle incentive payment<\/li>\n<li>$1500 signing bonus<\/li>\n<li>improved health and optometric benefits<\/li>\n<li>wage increases of a minimum of 9.5 % over three years for the servicing group and a minimum of 13.4% for administrative classifications (inclusive of new top wage rate for admin classification) with a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153me too\u00e2\u20ac\u009d clause with civil services<\/li>\n<li>a one-time pay out of the lieu days bank for servicing staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153This is the third time I have had the opportunity of negotiating our collecting bargaining agreement.
